Public High School Graduates, by Race and Ethnicity
In 1999–2000, White students represented the majority of all high school graduates. While Whites remained the majority in 2011–12, their total share of all public high school graduates decreased as the total share of students of color increased. Projections predict this trend will continue, with Whites representing just under half of all public high school graduates in 2025–26.
